Why I’m interested in entrepreneurship

My parents ran a business when I was a kid. It sucked much energy, frustration, and pain out of them -but it also gave them so much joy.

It got me intrigued.

I loved the empowerment and knowledge that came with entrepreneurship.

However, I wanted to discover ways in which to remove the frustration from it.

Over time, I especially became interested in the power of entrepreneurship to solve social problems.

What I did before

As I was interested in understanding business and money, I studied Economics.

I then set course onto the banking world. I started as a personal lender, then became a small business lender.

Next, I was offered to become a Sr. Advisor in Strategy at a bank’s head office, specifically designing strategies for these small business lenders.

I then worked at Accenture, a consulting firm.

I quit in 2013 to dive into entrepreneurship full-time – and I haven’t looked back since 🙂
